Greek to Me On Friday, we wrote about how a number of academic subjects were way down in search traffic this year. One of those subjects is Greek mythology, but that doesn't mean mythology searches have gone away all together. Therefore, we thought we would take a look at the most-searched figures from Greek mythology. Here they are: 1)  Zeus 2)  Apollo 3)  Eros 4)  Aphrodite 5)  Aries 6)  Poseidon 7)  Hermes 8)  Hades 9)  Athena 10) Prometheus 11) Pan 12) Artemis It is fitting that the man in charge (or is that god in charge) tops our list. Zeus receives as any searches as the British band Coldplay or the TV show Ally McBeal. He must be the subject of a lot of school reports. We actually didn't include the figure from Greek mythology with the more searches, Atlas. That's because we are assuming Lycos searches wanted the atlas that shows you the world, not the Atlas that held it up. Lycos has ton of information if you want to know more about Greek mythology, including this list of all the gods and related figures.
