One to Watch: Rani Mukherjee Here's a name you may be hearing more about soon: Rani Mukherjee. Perhaps you've already seen Mukherjee in such films as Bichoo, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, and Hello Brother. (Or perhaps not.) She's one of the rising stars of Bollywood, the Indian equivalent of Hollywood. Mukherjee has been slowly moving up our search traffic logs over the last year. Her general personality is a bit confusing: sometimes she looks fairly thoughtful, sometimes she goes all Madonna, and sometimes it just ain't clear what's going on. Whatever she's up to, it's working: she seems to have fan pages and photo galleries galore. Last year we devoted a special report to Bollywood. (Mukherjee happens to be a cousin of one of last year's hotties, Kajol.) Since then we've continued to notice Indian terms, especially Bollywood terms, show up on our traffic logs with regularity. Still, you hear practically nothing about Bollywood and its stars in the mainstream press. Which makes us wonder: when will the Bollywood breakout finally happen in America?
