Interest in Kathy Griffin increased 4,100% due to her controversial speech at the Creative Arts Emmys where she told Jesus to "suck it." Whether you like or dislike Kathy, the woman certainly knows how to generate exposure for herself, and as we've learned from her now Emmy-winning reality show, "My Life on the D List," exposure - any type of exposure - is pretty much her entire career goal. (After all, she appeared on "Celebrity Mole: Hawaii." Shame is not one of her defining characteristics.)

The aforementioned Emmy Awards also gained 500%, although their ratings were the second lowest they've been in the history of the Emmy telecast. Kathy's comments were edited for the broadcast, as were the comments of Sally Field, who veered off path during her acceptance speech when she declared, "If mothers ruled the world, there would be no [expletitive] war in the first place." (Can't people just thank their agent or whatever anymore?)

"American Idol's" Antonella Barba has risen from the pile of debris from which she came this week, with a gain of 262%. As you may recall, Antonella was well-known last winter for a) being naked, and b) mediocre singing, which puts her a step or two behind Vanessa Hudgens who is currently well-known for a) being naked and b) sort of decent singing. Clearly, one naked starlet begets interest in past naked starlets, judging by Antonella's gain. We suspect that interest in Antonella will decrease again for a season or so until another one pops out of the woodwork.
