Quixtar's September 1 launch was delayed a few days -- technical problems, don't you know -- which only seemed to intensify user search activity. |

Riding the wave of 'The Sixth Sense' and the nausea-inducing 'Blair Witch Project' comes 'Stigmata,' yet another creepy/supernatural flick. This one stars Patricia Arquette as a hairdresser with creepy Christ-like contusions. (Arquette is drawing comparisons to Linda Blair in 'The Exorcist,' natch.) HBO's telefilm 'Introducing Dorothy Dandridge' continues to stir up searches. Dandridge was the first African-American woman ever nominated for a best actress Oscar (for 'Carmen Jones' in 1954) before her career took a tragic dive. Halle Berry stars in the flick, which will continue airing through September. |

This year she scored a double whammy with appearances in the teen-friendly films 'Never Been Kissed' and 'Idle Hands,' and judging by our search logs she's poised for bigger things. She's scheduled to star in James Cameron's rumored upcoming TV series for Fox, 'Dark Angel.' |
