The top women of the week are dotted again with L50 favorites, Britney, Paris, and Pam, as well as wrestling babes, Stephanie McMahon and Trish Stratus. Mary Louise Parker entered the Lycos 50 for the first time this week, due in part to her series, "Weeds," returning to Showtime this fall.

Jessica Alba is a more recent Lycos 50 hit, appearing on the list for 18 straight weeks. The "Sin City" and "Fantastic Four" starlet started her career as a child actress in series such as "The Secret World of Alex Mack" and "Flipper." She later became known for her role as one of the popular girls in the Drew Barrymore high school comedy, "Never Been Kissed," as well as the James Cameron sci-fi series which spawned millions of fanboys, "Dark Angel."

Incidentally, "Never Been Kissed" is one of those movies I have to watch whenever I pass by it while channel-surfing; it just barely missed my list of favorite high school movies. Jessica Alba's character sort of made me want to go to the prom dressed as Barbie.

Jessica's fame has grown as something of a sexpot, and if you've watched "Sin City" you'll understand why. Playboy named her as one of their "25 Sexiest Celebrities" in 2006, and in 2007, Maxim named her as #2 on their Hot 100, just after Lindsay Lohan. Also this year, FHM named her as the "Sexiest Woman in the World." However, the current star of "Good Luck Chuck" has stated that she refuses to appear nude in any of her films ... sorry, guys!
