Latest Hot Carter: Aaron Can you stand one more pop music sensation from Orlando, Florida? Get ready for Aaron Carter, the latest teen heartthrob du jour. And "teen heartthrob" isn't exactly accurate -- he's only 12, after all, trapped in that no-boy's-land terrain between Gary Coleman and Shaun Cassidy. He's young enough, frankly, that he still looks like one of the The Chipmunks. But enough insults: let's give the boy some credit. Carter used to be known as the cutesy young brother of Nick Carter, one of the (Orlando-based) Backstreet Boys. But lately he seems to be getting downright hot. Aaron Carter searches started going up the week of July 16th, and they've quintupled in the last month. (Last week he got twice as many user queries as brother Nick.) His album "Aaron's Party (Come Get It)" is due out September 26 from Jive Records, the same label that handles (Orlando-based) Britney Spears and the Backstreets. (Note to rock historians: in the album's eponymous single Carter actually trots out the geriatric lines "AC's in the house" and "Break it down!")
