More than likely, 2007 will be remembered as that year celebrities streamed in and out of lavish rehabilitation centers. Both Britney Spears (at #8 this week) and Lindsay Lohan (at #14) completed a stint at A-list favorite, Promises in Malibu, which, per the Promises website, features luxurious facilities and a "gorgeous panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean."

Currently, Lindsay is reportedly undergoing her third rehab stint of 2007 at Cirque Lodge in Utah, which overlooks the Sundance ski resort. The Cirque Lodge website features pictures of the gorgeous Rocky Mountains and guests - er, patients - taking helicopter rides and hiking.

I need a vacation. I kind of wish I had a drug problem.

In other news, the aforementioned Britney Spears is in a heap of trouble. Not only will Paris Hilton reportedly not return her phone calls (although why anyone would want to talk to Paris that badly is a mystery), but Kevin Federline, whose debut album "Playing with Fire" was released in October, 2006, is suing her for custody of their two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James. Britney's friends and cohorts are currently being served with subpoenas.

Britney may be a mess lately, but let us not forget that K-Fed is responsible for inflicting "PopoZao" on the world. I'd prefer being parented by the bewigged pop princess, lack of carseats, midnight trips to The Ivy and all.
