With the NFL season fast approaching, football fans across the nation are scrambling for tickets to see their favorite teams. One of the best places to look is on Lycos, where we can help you search for NFL tickets. So which fans are searching the most?
We took a look at total ticket searches for NFL teams. If you add up the ticket searches for all 31 NFL teams, they come out to more than twice as many searches as good ol' Dragonball.
The surprise top team was the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Though they don't play in a top market, the Bucs have devoted fans. They've lived through a lot of years of horrid teams, followed by a few years of a punishing defense with no offense. Now that they have a solid quarterback, Brad Johnson, the fans are excited. Tampa Bay Buccaneer tickets got as many searches as South Park or the band Slipknot.
Searches for hugely popular (and impossible to get) Green Bay Packers tickets were #2. Here were the top twelve NFL ticket searches:

We did a similar study of baseball teams. Baseball ticket searches are much lower than football ticket searches, with the season nearly over, but here were the top five. Four big contenders, and one big surprise.
