Searches for the iPhone skyrocketed last week. Apple's new product hit stores last Friday, which sent frenzied techies off to their nearest Apple store to wait in line to buy the newest shiny object. The iPhone racked up enormous sales over the weekend with Apple reportedly running out of phones in half of their stores. The iPhone helped AT&T break records, selling more in three days than Motorola's Razr phone sold in a month.

The iPhone uses what Apple is calling "multi-touch" technology, in which the user touches the screen to initiate all actions. Early reports say that users are loving the video, internet access, and music, but the whole phone aspect of the iPhone is less successful. But really, who has the time to talk on the phone when you are watching videos on YouTube, listening to music, and writing emails, anyway?

Wimbledon has increased 522%, the one tennis tournament in which fans spend more time sitting around and waiting for it to stop raining than watching tennis.
