One to Watch: Ali G Despite the hubbub about Tony Blair's new baby, there's a hotter U.K. topic on our search logs: ALI G Searches for Ali G have quadrupled since the start of the year; last week he got as many searches as Melissa Joan Hart and pop phreak Michael Jackson. So who is Ali G? First of all, he's fictional: he's the comic alter-ego of Brit comedian Sacha Baron-Cohen. Ali G is a spoof on hip-hop stars, or at least he seems to be a spoof: his signature yellow track suit, wraparound goggles and strange hand signals are not far from the real item. He's become a star on British television, where his specialty is the screwball celebrity interview. Will Ali G cross the Atlantic to American hottie-tude? With hip-hop frenzy continuing here (20 years and counting!) he'd seem to fit right in. And now apparently the neo-Anglophile Madonna is including him in her latest music video. Our guess is that you'll be seeing more of Ali G soon.
