Jason Castro comes in at #29 this week on the Lycos 50 list after being eliminated off American Idol on May 7. The dreadlocked singer felt relieved after being voted off reports say, Castro claimed "It has just really been hard; I was starting to fear the week ahead. Like, how can I do three songs? I can't even do two ... I was freaking out about it." Castro puts the blame on his inexperience saying that he had only learned the guitar a few years ago and only played a few performances before making it on the show. Castro's elimination came after he flubbed the words to Bob Dylan's Mr. Tambourine Man on May 6.

Ashlee Simpson comes in at # 47 this week after her and Pete Wentz tied the knot on the evening of May 18. People Magazine reports the two were married during an intimate ceremony at her parents Los Angeles home. "We're delighted to confirm that Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were married this evening in front of family and close friends," said a spokesperson. Simpson, 23, wore an ivory lace wedding gown by Monique Lhuillier and jewelry by William Noble. The ceremony was performed by Simpson's father, Joe Simpson while her sister, Jessica Simpson, was the maid of honor. The couple has been linked since the fall of 2006 and announced their engagement last month; this is the first marriage for both parties.

Jessica Biel comes in at #50 this week after she and Jake Gyllenhaal reportedly walked off a movie set due to lack of funding. The Screen Actors Guild pulled members Gyllenhall and Biel from the set of Nailed, directed by David O. Russell after producers of the film failed to keep adequate funds to pay the actors. The movie, taking place in South Carolina, has stopped production until further notice. Co-written by Kristin Gore, the daughter of former vice president Al Gore, it tells the story of a waitress who falls into Washington misfortunes after accidentally getting a nail lodged in her head.
