Cinco De Mayo gained 500% on the Movers & Shakers list this week. Cinco De Mayo, Spanish for the 5th of May, is a regional holiday in Mexico, originally celebrated primarily in the state of Puebla. The holiday commemorates an initial victory of Mexican forces led by General Ignacio Zaragoza over French forces in the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. The date is observed in the United States and other locations around the world as a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride.

Jessica Alba is up 425% this week after making an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show . According to DeGeneres Alba is expecting a baby girl and plans to name it Ellen. The soon-to-be-mother knows the sex of her unborn child, but is choosing to keep it secret from the public. In an effort to divine the baby's sex, DeGeneres held a wedding ring tied to a string over Alba's palm, following a traditional method of prediction When the ring moved in a circular motion the talk show host announced, "It's going in a circle, which means it's a girl. And her name shall be Ellen - if you haven't picked one out already."

Nick Hogan, son of famed wrestler Hulk Hogan, rose 350% after being sentenced to an eight month jailed term. Hogan, whose real name is Bollea, received the sentence on Friday after pleading no contest to causing a crash that almost killed his best friend. The 17-year-old was taken straight from court to begin his sentence for reckless driving, to be followed by a five years probation and 500 hours community service. The crash took place in August 2007 and left his friend John Graziano with a fractured skull and in need of lifelong medical care. Hogan lost control of the vehicle while he was racing, clipped a curb and hit a tree.
