One to Watch: The Vengaboys
We've noticed a surge in Vengaboys searches recently. Could this be the beginning of a summer fling?
Les Vengaboys are a semi-legend in Europe, where the group started as a roving pair of DJs who travelled Spain in the early 1990s in the so-called "Vengabus," setting up beach parties. When the boys added some female singer-dancers in the Flygirl mode, things started to take off.
The Vengaboys have had hit records in Europe but only mild success in the USA. Now they have a new album out on Atlantic, playfully titled "The Platinum Album."
