Overall, Easter requests outdo Passover terms by about a 6-1 margin. If you combined both lists then you'd see three Passover terms in the top 20: "Passover" at #3, "Passover recipes" at #6, and "Seder" at #12. The rest would be Easter items.
You have to wonder about all those "Easter sermon" requests. Must be ministers looking for ideas, we presume. If so, is a minister ethically required to credit the Internet at the end of the sermon?
Finally, something else: we checked to see if queries for "Jesus" have risen recently -- they haven't. There doesn't seem to be an "Easter bump" there. But when we checked queries for "God" we noticed that they've been steadily rising for nearly four months. In fact, searches for simply "God" have doubled in since January 1st. Now, what do you suppose that means?
We don't know, but we'd sure like to. If you have any ideas, please drop a line on the boards. Meanwhile, Happy Easter from the Lycos 50!
