One to Watch: Chris Klein
User searches for actor Chris Klein have increased sixfold since early January, and seem to be climbing still.
Klein just turned 21 and played high-schoolers on film twice last summer: he was Reese Witherspoon's political rival in Election and then the girl-hungry lacrosse player in the boffo American Pie.
Now he's playing a slightly older hunk opposite Leelee Sobieski in the tear-jerker Here on Earth. And get this: news reports say that he's just signed on to take the James Caan role in a remake of '70s cult classic Rollerball.
If that's not enough, he's dating hubba-hubba actress Katie Holmes of Dawson's Creek fame. Which may be the biggest reason of all for the sudden rush of interest.
