The Lycos 50 Daily Report
 The things you're searching for.April 5, 2000

Hubba-Hubba Wednesday

Last week was a big one for mysterious Italian women.

And we don't mean Sophia Loren, God bless her. Specifically we're thinking of Flavia Vento. Her name has risen about 2000% in search frequency the last two weeks, yet we can barely find a thing on her.

So to speak. She seems to be a actress or model of the sometimes-topless variety -- that much we know. Beyond that things are vague. She gets mentioned in Italian gossip columns -- but of course, they're written in Italian. Even our partners at Lycos Italy seem to have little to offer in the way of search results for her.

In sum, we're in the dark. But we can tell you that for some reason she's hot stuff right now. Is that helpful?

Meanwhile, in a much clearer case of the hubba-hubbas, Kathleen Turner is also zooming up our search logs. Why? Because she's appearing as Mrs. Robinson in a London stage version of "The Graduate." And when she seduces young Ben, it seems she shows more than just a little leg.

    Mystery term solved:

    STAR WARS

Why is this flick suddenly popular again? Because Episode 1 was released on video this week, that's why. Thanks to users T. Record, G. Curran and J. Reeves for the tip-off.
