Two films "Blades of Glory" and "Spiderman 3" make appearances on the movers and shakers list this week. "Blades of Glory" stars Will Ferrell and Jon Heder as rival figure skaters who must join together to compete as a pairs team. Obviously, Will Ferrell + figure skating = comedy gold.

"Spiderman 3", which will be released on May 4, increased 144%. "Spiderman 3" will actually have its world premiere in Tokyo on April 16 and will be released in Japan on May 1. (Will any of the more obsessed Spidey fans make the trip around the world to catch the movie three days early? I wouldn't be terribly surprised.) Sony has slowly been rolling out promotional material for "Spiderman 3" in order to gain momentum among fans. The final trailer debuted online on March 23. (Is Eric Foreman really going to be a menacing villain?)

"Spiderman 3" is a huge release to kick off the summer movie season. The opening day of "Spiderman 2" was one of the highest grossing opening days of any movie of all time (beaten of course by "Aquaman," and only "Entourage" fans will know what I'm talking about...incidentally, how excited am I that this show is starting up again? Ah, Ari Gold, how I've missed you.)

Also on the topic of summer movies, Johnny Depp increased 100% this week. We'll see Johnny Depp in "Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World's End" which will hit theatres on May 25. Hopefully, it won't suck.
