"300" is the top movie at the box office and is also our most searched movie of the week. Derived from the Frank Miller graphic novel, "300" tells the story of the 480 B.C. Battle of Thermopylae, in which the King of Sparta led his army against the Persians. "300" has proven to be immensely popular, despite its somewhat extreme amount of violence.

Our second most popular film of the week, "Ghost Rider" is also derived from a comic book (er...graphic novel, I guess, is the correct term for the nerds who adore these things). "Ghost Rider" stars Nicolas Cage as motorcyclist Johnny Blaze, who gives up his soul to become a vigilante and fight against the son of the Devil. A story to which we can all relate.

Other popular box office hits include "Zodiac", "Amazing Grace", and "Black Snake Moan". "Black Snake Moan" opened to mixed reviews and tells the offbeat story of an ex-musician, played by Samuel L. Jackson attempting to cure a nymphomaniac (Christina Ricci) of her ways
