One to Watch: Incubus
The band Incubus has been showing steady search growth since last summer. RollingStone.Com describes the LA-based band's music as "fusion-generated funk," and at the very least they must be the most popular band ever to come out of Calabasas, California.
User queries for Incubus tripled from June to mid-December, and have doubled again since then. The band got just about the same number of searches last week as did Taiwan, Demi Moore, anatomy, Blues Clues or Mark Twain. (Perhaps it's no surprise to see Demi Moore and anatomy paired...)
Will Incubus make the move from Demi Moore up to Cindy Margolis or even Carmen Electra heights? Time will tell.
